It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?
It’s been an Ireland fest on the blog since we got home.
Food: Eating in Ireland
Photos: Wordless Wednesday — Ireland Edition
Exercise: Readers’ Workouts June 19
And, of course, Books:
- Book Review: Ireland Awakening by Edward Rutherfurd
- Book Review: The Insurrection in Dublin by James Stephens
- Book Review: A Traveller’s History of Ireland
Read
I finished Jasmine Nights by Julia Gregson late last night. I enjoyed the World War II time period and exotic settings. I’ll write a longer review later in the week.
Reading
I’ve started reading Food Fight: The Citizen’s Guide to the Next Food and Farm Bill by Daniel Imhoff, which was timely since the Senate passed their version last week.
I seem to have added a new reading habit recently — an e-book on my phone. My current selection is No Longer a Gentleman by Mary Jo Putney. I read in very short bursts on my phone so it has to be an easy or short book to work well for me.
Will Read
Next up is Miracle at St. Anna by James McBride — and I need to read it fast because we’re discussing it at Book Club on Thursday night. This is another World War II novel so I’m looking forward to that.
I’m carrying on the World War II theme by rewatching Foyle’s War.
It’s Monday! What Are Your Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila of Book Journey. Be sure to check out her post today to see her selections and the list of links to all the other participating bloggers.
