Read
It’s been a slow week. Well, a slow week for reading — a fast week for everything else. I did post three reviews:
- Book Review: The Very Best of Recipes for Health by Martha Rose Shulman
- Book Review: Winning After Losing by Stacey Halprin
- Book Review: The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster
I finished The Other Wes Moore by Wes Moore last night. Which is good since I’m leading my book club on Thursday evening. Fortunately, our book club doesn’t take more than one or two talking points to get our discussion up and running and this book seems particularly well-suited to prompting conversation. My preparation will take little more than turning the handful of post-it notes I slapped in the book into questions.
Reading
I’m currently reading Change Anything by Kerry Patterson (et. al). I almost forgot to list it because I’m reading it on my iPad using the Kindle app. Although I’m still mystified how I’m going to get myself to read novels on this thing (and there’s one on it that I really want to read!), I do think I have a routine now that will get me to read nonfiction books on it. That will make my iPad more useful!
Will Read
Next up on the TBR stack is the same book that was at the top last week: The Unexpected Circumnavigation by Christi Grab which I’m reading as part of my participation in the From Left to Write Book Club.
