Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.

Since I didn’t meet my January goal, I set a lower one for February — 1000 minutes, an average of 35 minutes per day. So far, I’m finding ways to meet or beat the daily average. It will help a lot if the weather cooperates and I manage to avoid the nasty flu that every one in St. Louis seems to be getting. Here’s hoping!

  1. I work in a health & rehab center and many of the residents had really bad cases of the flu. They all started feeling better the last few days. Thank God I didn’t get it.
