Readers’ Workouts June 5
Do you read? Do you exercise (or wish you did)? Join us for Readers’ Workouts — the place where bookish people gather to report and support our exercise goals. We welcome all levels of experience.
I’m on track for 1400 minutes early in the month, but have lost a bit of variety. I’m mostly walking right now — I did manage about 10 minutes of some weight lifting and stretching so I’ll try to get in a bit more of that.
How was last week? What are your exercise plans for the week ahead?
Post on your own blog — grab the logo, if you want — and add the link to the list below. Or, report in the comments.
It’s great that you’re on track! Good luck working in more of what you want!
1400 minutes early?! You’re doing great. I’ve been riding my bike. I rode six miles in one day. It was a little hellish but great! I’ve been thinking about buying a pair of roller skates. We’ll see! 🙂
Well done for being early, 1400 sounds like a lot! Well done you.
Good work! I’m finding it easy to stay ahead of my goal this month too. The weather is cooperating and walking is heavenly early in the day. Keep it up and I will too!
1400 minutes! I never thought of setting goals that way. My own goal has always been set in miles since walking is my main method. I hadn’t been doing much of anything since last August until this past month. I started back at about half a mile a day and I’m now up to 1.4 (the distance around our park trail with a cool down lap in the parking lot). Unfortunately, I don’t always make it every day. This past week, I’ve been lucky to do a mile around the neighborhood. I have time set aside in the afternoon for Yoga, but I frequently forget to do it.
