Good Night, and Good Luck #SundaySalon — 12 Comments

  1. I was so impressed with the stage version of “Good Night and Good Luck,” which was also a favorite film when it was released. Wouldn’t you love to have a talk with Edward R. Murrow now about media?

  2. I will look for Good Night and Good Luck. I need to watch for books and movies that inspire hope. I keep thinking that bad times are just about to flip and then all of a sudden another awful thing happens. It’s this constant barrage of false media and lies that are coming from…where? I’m not sure.

I’m reading as much as I can about Stoicism and I’m using some of its precepts to guide my life these days. I’m focusing on things I can change, for one.

Thank you, Joy, for being a light in these dark times.

  3. Thanks for sharing both. Many are so uninformed. If we all read more.. I don’t know.. the world especially our country is almost unrecognizable right now.

  4. I remember the movie of Good Luck Good Night from 2005 but it’s been a while. So I’d like to see the play version. I’ll have to get Netflix for a bit. Times are really tough now … good to stay active

  5. We watched the Clooney play a few nights ago and thought it was outstanding. So timely, which makes it somewhat difficult to watch, but wow. I want to recommend it to everyone I know! Things are so awful right now.
