Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.

What are you doing to keep the exercise going during this holiday week? I’m way behind on my goal to exercise 1300 minutes in December, but I’m still committed to my daily exercise streak so I get some exercise done everyday, even if it’s 15 minutes of stretches while watching old Foyle’s War episodes.

We walked more through the polar vortex and ice storm days than I thought we might. Rick gets determined to see if we can do it. Once we’ve proved we can get out and stay on our feet and not freeze, it’s rather easy to just go ahead and take a walk.

  1. That is some cold weather you walk in! I am impressed. After walking Aja we take our walk and it actually started misting and raining on us. We finished but we were sure cold. Good for you and Rick persevering and walking.
