  1. Wow! Louisiana, MO. A city with the name of a state. Sounds like a fun childhood except for the cancer-causing smoke spewing into the neighborhood. The good old days had their problems too.

    • Yep. My hometown feels more like the Hannibal of Mark Twain’s childhood than Hannibal does now.

  3. I remember that my bedroom had a door to the kitchen, however, for at least part of the time we were there, we had didn’t use it and had the refrigerator sitting in front of it.

    I don’t really remember the Utah house, but I remember Mother telling someone that their bedroom was upstairs, and you and I had downstairs bedrooms, and that it worked out better than she had expected.

  11. I just stumbled upon this. I also lived in Ordonia from 1966-1972. I have many great memories from my time there and would love to reconnect or see more pictures!
