It’s Monday! What Are Your Reading?
Happy Valentine’s Day!

Here are the books I wrote about last week, all related in some way to Valentine’s Day!
- Book Review: WomenHeart’s All Heart Family Cookbook by Kathy Kastan and Suzanne Banfield
- Book Review: Cupid by Julius Lester
- Book Review: The Bride Quartet by Nora Roberts

I’ve made some progress on the e-book I started last week, but not much. It’s a Torchwood spin-off book called Another Life.
I started Bill Bryson’s A Walk in the Woods with my reading buddy, Erin. We’re talking about it in the comments of this post: Reading Buddies Discussion: “A Walk in the Woods” by Bill Bryson.
I’ve also started the next book for my real-life book club: The Black Girl Next Door by Jennifer Baszile. It’s a terrific memoir.
There’s an internet rumor that Borders will be declaring bankruptcy today. I wasn’t sure how that would effect the $200 of gift cards I was sitting on, so I decided the only thing to do was spend them! I have many books to choose from now! I’ll let you know when I make the choice.

OMG, That’s terrible about Borders. Don’t have any gift cards for there at the moment. Glad you were able to redeem yours and add to your TO-BE-READ pile.

Borders closed here in the UK last year or the year before… although my nearest one was a couple of hours away anyway. Wow, how many books did you get with $200?! I’m sure you’ll enjoy them all 🙂
I love Torchwood, but haven’t read any of the books.
A shopping spree! That sounds like fun.
Wow!!! What I would do with $200 in Border GC’s. I hope deciding what books to get isn’t to stressful for you, it would be for me.
We had one Borders close in a town nearby, but there’s another one (huge, new and fancy) in another town that’s about a 45 min. drive from us. I hope it doesn’t close! I love going there.
I have an award for you HERE
