Bookish Places #TopTenTuesday — 12 Comments

  1. I like to pick some books to take along set in the place I’m visiting. I would love to visit a beautiful castle in Italy and reread The Enchanted April. I would also love to visit England and read anything set there.

  2. I didn’t know Rutherford had a book for Ireland too, but I really shouldn’t be surprised — and what a wonderful idea for a travel guide.

    • I’d love to visit Bletchley Park.

I was in Concord many years ago and I can’t believe I didn’t visit Louisa May Alcott’s house!

  3. I read Rutherfurd’s Sarum before visiting England back in 1996. It was so fun to visit Salisbury Cathedral, Bath, Stonehenge, etc., after reading the novel. Maybe it’s time for me to read Paris!
