  1. Sometimes the older books are the best. I just finished Mourning Raga by Ellis Peters, an excellent read. Maame, not so much. The virtual tour looks to be great. Hope you enjoy it.

  2. I am not sure where I am going in December, reading-wise. I thought I was going to stick to fluff, but I think I may instead just read-at-will. Mavericks: Life Stories and Lessons of History’s Most Extraordinary Misfits would be a good choice for me, I think.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about A Sprinkle of Christmas.

  3. Snow eh? We have it too. We’ve been liking the American Revolution too. So much information in it. We have one more episode to see. It was pretty dire for the Americans for a long while.

  4. My birthday was yesterday (the 29th) and I was born on the heels of a massive snowstorm so I’m always excited for the potential for snow! We didn’t get any here but my niece just outside of STL sent me snowy photos so my heart was happy.

I’m still making my way through The End of the World As We Know It but also recently finished The Ten Thousand Doors of January and Wild Dark Shore. I’m beginning to think about reading challenges for 2026, but am first and foremost looking for a holiday story that isn’t too sappy/cringy 😉

Hope you have a great week ahead, Joy!
