  1. You are dealing with a lot right now. I’m so sorry your area was hit with tornado damage. Providing transportation and child care for an inlaw has to be helpful for them right now, but I’m sorry that you have to deal with all these things at the same time.

I hope books or tv offers some distraction.

  2. That’s great that you’re able to help out with transportation and childcare and I hope everyone is very appreciative! So sorry about the in-law and the tornado damage and Happy Belated Birthday!

  3. I’m sorry about your loss and I hope the tornado didn’t do too much damage for you personally (though it has been terrible.) Take are, that’s a lot at once.

  4. I’m so sorry about the death of your in-law. Even when it’s not unexpected, it is still difficult to manage the emotion with the needs and tasks that follow. I know your family is grateful. Please take care.

We had a tornado here too and much of our neighborhood is a mess. I don’t think we were directly in the hit but clearly in the devastating wind path. I was lucky. Many weren’t but I think no deaths.

I expected to be thrilled with Miss Austen. I’m not. Yet. But like you, hanging in. It just isn’t captivating me as I thought it might and I’m not sure if it’s the victim of great expectations or simply not what I am needing right now which is more escape than anything.

  5. Thanks for the local knowledge re: donations. That’s always helpful.

Good luck with the end-of-life stuff; sounds like you’re doing a lot of the support work, and all of it is always hard, even when it’s someone a bit more distant.

  6. Sorry to hear about your tornado and your in-law. Gosh that’s tough. What a weekend. You’ll need some rest after this. Sending sympathies.

  7. You have so much going on now and I am sorry to hear about the passing of a relative. It’s so good of you to help out during a stressful time. I had been reading the news about tornadoes and your area got hit hard.

Love your Wonka post and I have yet to add jane Austen to my watch list.
