  1. Interesting. My hometown is on the list. When I was going to school there were occasionally black kids in school but none of them lived within the town limits and several were being raised by white parents. I posted a link on Facebook to see anyone knows what the situation is now. I’ve always thought it was a little weird because we were just south of the major city in the area with a large minority population but my school was at least 99% white. There weren’t any laws that I knew of but I’m interested to know more of the history. One of my Facebook friends is one of the few black graduates of that school. He lived in the country like I did. Maybe he’ll have some insights.
