  2. Joy:
Thank you very much for taking the time to reply to my questions. Your fine-point distinctions are wonderful clarifications. It’s truly delightful to see how entrenched you are in the world of book blogging. You make a fine teacher of this!

One small clarification, though. Write Nonfiction in November is Nina Amir’s website. I am her guest blogger up until October 31, 2013. 🙂

    Thanks again!

  3. Though they overlap, I have a couple of book blogs. Bonnie’s Books is my primary blog to talk about life, writing and words, and books I’m reading. Book Buddies is a book discussion blog where anyone can find all our previous discussions, can follow along as a “lurker” and say nothing, or can join in the discussion. We usually talk about a book for a month or more, with more than one post for discussions as we read, not waiting until everyone has finished the book. That does two things: (1) It allows anyone to comment even years later and, in a sense, “join” the conversation — as moderator, I will respond, even if others don’t. (2) It gets us involved over a longer period of time. Right now, we are reading Turning to One Another by Meg Wheatley, who wants us to start “Simple Conversations to Restore Hope to the Future.” To see how it works, click on this month’s information post: http://bookbuddies3.blogspot.com/
