Rounding out February #ReadersWorkouts

Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
Our weather improved the last couple of days and I’m getting some long walks in — 50 minutes yesterday. I only need 70 minutes over the next two days to finish 1000 minutes for the month.
I tried something new last week — a “float.” A float is ninety minutes in a tank of water with enough epsom salts that you can’t sink, floating with no effort. The things that I used to do to pamper myself are problematic now that I’m older — massages cause bruising and hot tubs cause hot flashes. So, I thought that this would be a good way to relax and treat myself. I liked it enough to try again. I was acutely aware of the parts that didn’t relax, so I want to do some yoga before my next float to see if I can get some of the tighter places to release.
How is your exercise going?
I’ve never heard of a “float” before. Sounds interesting, although I’m not sure how relaxing I’d find it. I should think about scheduling a massage for this month.
I have heard of salt baths. Maybe they are the same? Very in-tuned to notice which parts were not relaxing!
I’ve heard of salt baths but not floats. Sounds like something I’d like to try.
I completely forgot to link up Tuesday. Better late than never I guess.
