Readers’ Workouts — June 24
Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I’m still on track for 1400 minutes this month, with a week to go. Most of my exercise, right now, is walking and yard work. I’m having some good luck in timing my walks for after a rain so it’s a bit cooler, but most of the yard work happens in the heat.
How is your exercise going in June? For Readers’ Workouts, talk about your fitness activities on your blog (feel free to grab the logo) and link to your post below or join us in the comments! Be sure to visit the other participants to see how we all did.
My workouts are limping along both figuratively and literally. I was making some progress of getting into a morning yoga routine again when I injured my knee. How? I don’t even know. But I blogged about what’s happening and why I haven’t been able to do much at all.
Let’s see. I’ve been getting a walk in everyday, but that’s about it this week. We have been doing a lot of yardwork though.
I hope you are keeping hydrated when you are out in the heat? Wearing sunscreen?
I passed my 2nd degree brown belt test. Going to be adding an extra half hour lesson a week & hopefully going back to yoga class on Friday.
Yay! That’s great!
