I hope all the US readers had a wonderful and heartwarming Thanksgiving celebration. I didn’t pay much attention to the book blogger holiday events last year because I was kind of overwhelmed with things, but I signed up for a couple this year.

I don’t see a sign-up deadline for the 2012 Virtual Advent Tour — a cross between an Advent Calendar and a blog hop — but it looks like they are still welcoming participants. The date I’ve been assigned is December 15. I’ll probably do something similar to the posts I was writing for the October Memoir Challenge, although I’ve already written the most obvious piece: Most Magical Christmas. Thanks to Kailana from The Written World and Marg from Adventures of an Intrepid Reader for hosting this fun event.

I’m also keeping in mind that there’s a special holiday version of Trish’s Pin It and Do It challenge going on at Love, Laughter, and a Touch of Insanity. I would love to at least manage making a recipe from Pinterest.
