Last week, Mari of Bookworm with a View noted that I was going to easily meet my goal of 1300 minutes and, so, she challenged me to surpass it. I accepted the challenge and ended February with 1365 minutes — more than an hour extra! Thanks, Mari!
Of course, that made me think I might want to set a more challenging goal for March which is, after all, two days longer. So my March goal is 1400 minutes. I’m going to be traveling some in March, but that’s really no excuse. I often manage very long walking days during trips. This will be incentive to makes sure that happens.
Unfortunately, just about the time March began, I did something to a muscle in my lower back. This is a recurring problem, so I’m not too worried, but I did take three rest days in a row and temporarily change my style of exercise. No Slim in 6. Instead, I walked and followed some other DVDs that feature yoga, qi gong, and Nia.
My minutes, then, are way behind at 85 of 1400, but there’s still a lot of month left!
