BTT: Reviews

Booking Through Thursday graphicToday’s Booking Through Thursday question:

Do you read book reviews? Whose do you trust? Do they affect your reading habits? Your buying habits?

Yes. I read lots of book blogs. I read traditional reviews on my library catalog’s website. I read both traditional and reader reviews on Amazon. I read reader reviews on Goodreads. Rather than trust any one source, I like to read lots of opinions and see what appeals. Book blogs, especially, have led me to reading and buying more books than I used to.

  1. I read reviews and of course, blogs but really the premise has to catch me. Though I have had reviews sway me to books I wouldn’t think I’d like.

I like to read reviews but I don’t base my book buying decisions on them. I like a good variety too.
