  2. I’m glad you chose They Called Us Enemy. I have heard George Takei talk about his family’s internment. One night, when he spoke at the University of North Florida about the making of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, he stayed after his presentation and talked to a group of us for about an hour, mostly about his family’s experience. He is very keen that people understand the enormity of the internment. Happy reading in 2026!

  3. I would like to read They Called Us Enemy–learning more about the darker sides of our history is so important.

    The Darkroom and the Anne Bronte book both are also intriguing. I haven’t heard of the later, so I will have to expand my Bronte shelf to include it!
