Last week, I recommended The Novel Life of Jane Austen: A Graphic Biography as a quick way to engage with the life of Jane Austen ahead of her 250th birthday next month.
Last year, I reviewed a virtual tour from London Walks called Christmas with Jane Austen. Here’s the page with details and dates for this year’s offering of that tour.
Since that was a delightful moment in my holiday season, I decided to sign up for The London of Charles Dickens’ Christmas Carol. It’s being offered on four dates. I chose the first one, November 30. The page says that the cost is £20, but they only charged £10 at the EventBrite page, which came to $13.18 on my credit card. The times on the page are local, but EventBrite converted that for me — it will be 1pm on a Sunday afternoon in St. Louis. I’m looking forward to it.
Check out this page for all of London Walks’ virtual tours. You might find something interesting!
