Will the real David Copperfield please stand up? #SundaySalon
Happy Sunday! Sunday Salon is hosted by Deb at ReaderBuzz. Check out her post and the links to see what other bloggers have been up to in the last week.
How’s the weather?
We had mostly sunny but cooler weather all week. Autumn is here! Today, like last Saturday, we got some rain, although not nearly as much. It started just about the time that I got home from our weekly Black Lives Matter vigil, so I’m having a cozy afternoon.
What are you reading?
I wrote a blog post on Friday about our discussion of
Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. One member of our book club had the magician confused with the Dickens’ character! We had some fun with that.
I’m continuing to enjoy The Hazelbourne Ladies Motorcycle and Flying Club by Helen Simonson. I’m reading it as quickly as possible since the library yanked back the e-book before I was finished the last time. I want to start reading some print books and an audiobook, but, for now, I’ll just keep flying with the Hazelbourne Ladies.
What are you watching or listening to?
Nothing new to report. I’m continuing to watch The Way Home on Netflix. This is the perfect spooky show for me with it’s mostly autumn setting in New Brunswick, Canada and just a touch of the supernatural that supports a time travel plot.
Rick and I are continuing to watch Downton Abbey in the evening. We’ve started the final season, but there are still three movies to watch when we’re done.
What are you doing?
I’m developing some cleaning and decluttering energy. I can usually get myself to make some progress in November ahead of holiday decorations, so we’ll see how I do this year.
How are you this fine Sunday?
