A Play and a Rally #SundaySalon — 10 Comments

  1. I went yesterday with friends to the grand opening of our county’s Democratic Party headquarters. I tentatively committed to passing out leaflets to register voters in the brand-new neighborhoods in our county.

I don’t have Netflix right now, so I’ll have to pencil in Thursday Murder Club for later.

  2. Please send your false fall to L.A. We are cooking. So hot.

Lucy Knisley didn’t ring a bell but I see I have two books of hers on my TBR. I jumped on the Libby app to see which ones are available NOW and it’s the Cat one! “Wow, A Housecat’s Story of Despair”. Purrfect! I put holds on “Relish” and “Ride Beside Me”.

It’s great that you are attending that rally. WE are looking forward to redistricting California to wipe out 5 red seats.

  3. This may be False Fall here in CT and I know we’ll get more summer-like days but I’m pretty sure the uncomfortable overnight temps are behind us. It was hard for me to pick up another book after James, too, and Lucy Knisley was a great choice. I haven’t read her last two books. Thanks for reminding me!
