Last week, I checked out the Biddy’s Day celebrations in County Kerry. Tina began reading the autobiography Testament of Youth by Vera Brittain.

I had a busy week, so I’m just going to share this fun story from the BBC. Stanley Tucci will attend a formal dinner tonight with King Charles and Queen Camilla. They are having an Italian themed party to commemorate the visit that they will make to Italy in the spring.

Their itinerary in Italy will include a visit with Pope Francis during the Jubilee Year, which happens every 25 years in the Catholic Church. The last Jubilee was in 2000. On that occasion, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip visited the pope during a trip to Italy.

I’m wishing the King and Queen and Stanley Tucci a lovely Italian meal. In their honor, we’ll eat chicken cacciatore tonight.
