Winter Solstice #BriFri
Happy Sunday! Sunday Salon is hosted by Deb at ReaderBuzz. Check out her post and the links to see what other bloggers have been up to in the last week.
How’s the weather?
It looks like we’ll get rain for Christmas Day, but that’s not our big celebration day, anyway, this year. For Saturday, the 28th, we may have a temperature near 60 degrees! That will be fun for a little outdoor play with kiddos.
What are you reading?
I finally finished A Lot Like Christmas and shared a review. What a great book to accompany my holiday season!
Now, I’m reading another holiday-themed story: Make My Wish Come True by Alyson Derrick and Rachael Lippincott. My favorite part, so far, is the setting — a small town that loves Christmas.
What are you watching?
The new season of Queer Eye has become a December tradition for me. This season, they are in Las Vegas. A few fun episodes focus on characters who could be nowhere else but Vegas. But there are also plenty of “heroes” who are everyday folks and very relatable. This show has a remarkable capacity for making me feel better about people.
What are you doing?
I’m reworking my To Be Read list, putting a lot of thought into what might work best for me. I posted some ideas along with my Winter TBR in this week’s Top Ten Tuesday post.
My idea for winter warmth was accepted for A Winter Survival Guide for Homebodies: 7 Tips for Surviving Winter Without Leaving Your House| ApartmentGuide (a Redfin subsidiary). I love sharing about what libraries have to offer! Check out the other tips, too. Personally, I think I’ll try some of the ways for making my yoga practice cozier.
What are you up to this fine Sunday?
