Black Girls Do STEM #SundaySalon
Happy Sunday! Sunday Salon is hosted by Deb at ReaderBuzz. Check out her post and the links to see what other bloggers have been up to in the last week.
How’s the weather?
I’m checking every day that I go out whether I need a jacket. Most days, the answer is still ‘no.’ But some days it’s yes! We’ve turned the furnace on in the morning for an hour or two, a couple of times.
There is lots of color in our foliage. In our yard the leaves turn yellow, which can seem a little undramatic. But at certain angles of the sun, our entire house is wrapped in golden light.
What are you reading?
I’m finished listening to A Most Agreeable Murder by Julia Seales just in time for a pre-Halloween review on Friday.
What are you watching?
We somehow missed Wolf Hall when it originally aired on PBS. We’re using the PBS Passport to stream it now, so we can learn all about Thomas Cromwell and other people who hung around King Henry VIII’s court.
What are you doing?
I went to an event sponsored by Black Girls Do STEM and got to meet the founder of the organization. I love that the mission is in the name.
How are you this fine Sunday?
