Readers’ Workouts — November 5 — 9 Comments

  1. Still nursing the finger so no full blog post. I’m still exercising. Yoga and walking. Yesterday I used some free weights for the first time in a while. My finger was pulsing by the end of it so I’ll be avoiding trying to grip things today as a means towards recovery. I’ll probably do some Pilates today.

    • Sounds like you’re taking care of yourself in all kinds of ways — allowing for healing while still getting in some workouts. Good for you!

  2. I had a good sparring class last night, surprised two of the instructors with moves they weren’t expecting. Always nice when that happens.

    My fitbit says I’m moving less this week, but I’m nearly at 12k on my novel. For this month, lunchtime is for writing not walking.

    • Woohoo! 12K is great. Something has to give for NaNo.

      I love that you’re surprising your instructors. That demonstrates some mastery.

  3. My workout routine has been non-existent lately. I don’t know what’s going on but I’ve been wanting to take walks but haven’t. I stay amazed at how consistent you are with your workouts. 🙂

  4. I love your Readers Workout idea. I know I need to get out there and exercise more. I think as readers we tend towards a more sedentary lifestyle. I know that when I have an extra hour to spare i think books not running shoes. Anyways, you’ve inspired me. My legs are sore from the gym two days ago and I wasn’t going to go for a run on this glorious day, but now I am.
