Next month, you may see some unusual posts as I participate in the October Memoir and Backstory Challenge hosted by Jane Ann McLachlan. She’s designed it to be helpful to lots of different styles and stories, but I’m going to treat it as a straight-up memoir challenge. I’ll be posting a story of my life most days in October, going consecutively through my ages from 1 to 25. That allows for a few days off. Or, maybe I’ll be an overachiever and go past 25 — my life was much better at 31 than 25.
In order to not get too far off the themes of this blog, I plan to make most of my posts about books or food, but no promises. Bonus points if I manage a post that includes both books and foods.
If you have any interest in writing memoir or need to write the backstory of a character before NaNoWriMo, check out the October Memoir and Backstory Challenge.
