  1. I’ll have to look for that Elle magazine. Geez, what a photo, she looks seriously injured. Seems I turned 60 and everything is creaking these days, lol ! But I was never that limber anyway.
Can you imagine being I. London for the Olympics? That would be amazing.

  2. Ahhhh, the poor kid! I haven’t been following the Olympics too closely, I’m afraid. Been getting ready for school to start instead.

This week I finally, finally managed to write the final post of my UK trip, which features Winchester and Chawton: http://howlingfrog.blogspot.com/2016/08/uk-trip-xiv-winchester-and-chawton.html

I also read a book about the history of the English language that had some interesting theories: http://howlingfrog.blogspot.com/2016/08/our-magnificent-bastard-tongue.html

  3. Wow! Tina’s right, that fall looks frightening! I missed that I’m afraid but I did catch the Americans. Right now I’m getting ready to watch the finale of the Great British Baking Show on PBS!

  4. I loved the LONDON Olympics. My love for all things British started long before the games though 😉 (Can I remember a time “before”? Probably not! I think it started with my discovery of C.S. Lewis as a kid.
