B is for Bletchley Park #AtoZChallenge — 5 Comments

  1. Certainly Turing and the creation of a museum help to make Bletchley memorable as well as movies and television. I think the name Arlington has many things associated with it so its role in WW2 is second to say its association with the cemetery, the Pentagon ….

    • Good point. I keep forgetting that I can’t just say “Arlington” when I’m talking about Arlington Hall because most people are going to think of the cemetery or the city.

  2. The tragic end of Alan Turing’s life makes me think of Author C. Clarke, a contemporary British science guy who found an elegant solution to his home country’s overreaching laws about decency; he left.
