Fun British Stories #BriFri — 5 Comments

  1. THAT was a welcome respite from ‘the news’. I’m thoroughly fed up but this little news blip made me smile. As far as my own British news I’ve shared the Jk Rowling Fantastic Beasts controversy over on my site. And later today I’m meeting a friend to see Colette starring Keira Knightley. Colette was French of course, not English but Knightley is very much a Brit so that’s the slender British Isles Friday connection.

  2. the other half is fascinated with the ‘news’ about Eugenie’s wedding – I’m having a hard time reconciling the more than slighly bridezilla moments she’s having with the little cuties in the film with all of the grands (William, Harry, Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie and Zara’s brother) on summer hols at Balmoral – riding ponies and just chatting. Sadly – the current info about her is destroying those moments with the ‘better and bigger’ comments when comparing it to Harry’s wedding.

I’ve been in the Doctor Who zone most of the week – aside from following premier league news and the downfall of Man U. It’s been intriguing for sure – and far removed from the nausea that is the government in action.
