    I have seen Death in Paradise and it was amusing. Good show. I read Call the Midwife not too long ago. There is a British show waiting for me at the library called The Syndicate. Have you seen it?

  3. I don’t know if they are available in the USA, but have recently watched two series that were unexpectedly very good. The first was a 1980s repeat, ‘You’ve only young twice’, a comedy about four female residents of a ‘residential hotel for retired gentlefolk’, a sort of British Golden Girls, and the second was a recent very gentle comedy drama, ‘The Detectorists’, about two male metal Detectorists, and their problems with women. Neither sounded instantly appealing, but found both very relaxing and enjoyable.
