Down in the Back #ReadersWorkouts

Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I was doing fine with February, on track to meet my goals as of Saturday night. But, I woke up with lower back pain on Sunday morning — probably a result of standing too long while staffing a table at a conference the day before. Sigh.
I managed some short walks on the last two days of February. My current theory is that the worst thing I can do for my back is sit too much. I’m not sure if slow, short walks are helping, but they don’t seem to be hurting.
So, I came a little short of meeting my February goals, but, at least, I didn’t stop the streak of daily exercise that I’ve had going since November 1. I’m going to wait a day or two to set my March goals depending on how fast it looks like my back is going to improve.

I’m tearing myself away from catching up on my favorite blogs and going to the gym RIGHT NOW! 😉
Hope your back is 100% better soon!
I hope your back is better soon!!
I have had my sciatic back issues too when standing too long without a sit break. 2 hours at once is my limit!
Hopefully you and your back will be back in full swing soon. Epson Salts soaks?
After a bout of sicknesses running through our household, I’m finally getting out and walking about. Thank goodness the weather’s so temperate over here!
I hope your back is better soon!
I started back walking recently, so every other day my kids and I walk at least a mile. I’m thinking about getting a pedometer or Fitbit to keep track of my activity.
