Far from the Madding Crowd #FilmReview #BriFri — 2 Comments

  1. As far as period dramas go, my husband usually feels the exact same way…snore. I think he’s more apt to enjoy Far from the Madding Crow as he’s worked with Carrie (on the movie Drive) and has a fair amount of affection for her. “A sweet lady”. And thanks for the shout out on my Far From the Madding Crowd review! Or, as it’s British Isles Friday, should I just say ‘cheers’ Brit slang for thnx.

  2. Joy, I hate to hog your British Isles Friday page but I figured you’d be as excited as I am to hear that The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society movie is back on! Or perhaps you’ve heard already. Anyway, I loved the book, and I bet you did as well. I really can’t wait to see it onscreen. Rebecca Ferguson, recently cast in The Girl on the Train is in talks to play Juliet. Yes!
