Readers' workouts

Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.

I’ve achieved consistency, at least, in my workouts lately — 15 days in a row of walks. I only need five more days to meet my goal of 21 days with 8000 steps or more. But I’m running a bit behind on my other two goals. I’ll have to average 50 minutes of exercise a day (I’ve been averaging closer to 40 minutes) the rest of the month to reach 1300 minutes. And, I still need to get in five strength-training sessions of some kind. I can probably pull this off!

How is your exercise going? Share on your blog and link your post below. Or tell your story in the comments. Be sure to visit the other participants for support and encouragement.

  1. What a shame you aren’t on track on your strenght sessions, but you do a lot every month, so I think you can spare one month and then keep track the next.
I’m training for a 10K race – my goal is to finish it without stopping a single time in the race, let’s see if I can do it. It’s in October 11. Wish me luck!

  2. You can do – but you’re doing pretty awesome so far!! I need to start setting monthly goals too now that I think I’m officially back into the fitness game 🙂

    I didn’t see a link-up in the post.
