Story Map of Ireland #BriFri — 3 Comments

  1. What a gorgeous country! I have not been to Ireland but I do dream of going although right now the closest I’ll be getting is the movie Brooklyn. Did you read the book by Colm Toibin? It’s about a young woman who immigrates from Ireland, looking for work. But it starts in Ireland, and I’m excited to see the scenery! Ugh, don’t talk to me about Ulysses. It’s open on my desk at page 181, only 500 or so pages to go. I haven’t even tried to go back to it in weeks. The trouble is I’m not sure I fully understand the first 180 pages! Enjoy your weekend Joy, thanks for #BriFri Here’s my #BriFri post http://bit.ly/1MfNPcH

  2. I spent a couple months in Ireland, but I didn’t really know of any Irish authors before I went (I haven’t read Wilde ^^;) While I was there, I enjoyedreading Ireland by Frank Delaney, especially his take on the origins of Newgrange.
