Making Merry in May #ReadersWorkouts

Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I got my May off to a rollicking start with four days in a row of 8000 steps or more. I sneaked in some strength-training yesterday just so I could report that I did it in this post! So far, then, I’ve got this:
- 130 of 1300 minutes
- 4 of 21 days with at least 8000 steps
- 1 of 8 strength-training sessions
How are you doing with exercise in May?

You are off to a good start, Joy. I hve goals for May and am now more active.
Sounds like you’ve got a great start for May.
I need to make some monthly goals. I’m always impressed with your goals and progress throughout the month.
You’re off to a good May. My husband & I signed up for a long bike ride event so I’m cycling quite a few days a week. I enjoy it and it’s not too stressful on the joints.
I was pleasantly surprised to make it to the 5th floor of my building before stopping on the stairs to rest. Fitbit counts all 7 floors as 10 flights of stairs because we have high ceilings all through. I’m working with someone who likes to do stairs twice a day. Stairs are hard!
