The End of Overeating by David Kessler #SketchNote #WeekendCooking — 13 Comments

  1. Sketchnoting is new to me but I can see the value, more engaged, notes and pictures and reflections of what at the moment is relevant to you on the subject.
The rewiring of the brain about food is being sensationalized with all that the Food Channel and baking/cooking shows have to offer. Food porn, it all looks so tempting and delicious.

  2. Love the sketchnoting! What a great way to reinforce messages. I might have to try it myself.

Our society makes it so difficult to get away from delicious foods that should be on our tables only occasionally. Good luck with round.

  3. Thanks for keeping us up to date! I’d never heard of Sketchnoting either! I don’t read many food manifestos, but The End of Overeating sounds interesting. I think the publisher helps the author’s cause by juxtaposing that very dry-looking piece of carrot cake with that luscious bunch of juicy-looking fresh carrots!

  4. Another new one for me – Sketchnoting sounds fun and a more interesting way of note taking. I think we re-wire our own brains by what we choose to watch, read, buy, eat, when we make habits of those choices.

  5. I learn something new every day! I too am trying to lose weight and haven’t had a spectacular start. Now that my head cold seems to be ebbing I hope to get my energy back and make better choices.
