Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where book lovers share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
We had highs in the 60s over the weekend, but back to a more normal mid-30s yesterday. I’ve managed to exercise every day this month. Two days were indoor workouts featuring a lot of stretching and some strength-training — it was just too cold or wet to get out. But the weekend made up for that with long walks to suit the weather.
Will Valentine’s Day effect your workouts? We may go to a movie one afternoon this week which might make it hard to fit a walk in that day. But I think, otherwise, things should stay pretty normal.
For Readers’ Workouts, talk about your fitness activities on your blog (feel free to grab the logo) and link to your post below or join us in the comments! Be sure to visit the other participants to see how we all did.
You know you’ve worked hard when your instructor says “You need to rest, I just killed you”. We’ve improved my kata to a decent place, next is to add power to my techniques by visualising the bad guy my strikes land on.
I’m trying to walk up the stairs in the mornings to my 6th floor office, in a building with 22ft ceilings. It’s a lot of stairs.
Sounds like your doing great.
And that is a lot of stairs. I don’t know that I’d wanna do it.
My week was alright, but I’m ready for spring.
