  1. I just went back and read your review of A Short Guide To A Long Life. Hmmm. Walking? Who knew? 🙂 What I need to do vs. what I’m doing now. How to get there. As Deb said, though, “you inspire all of us.”

  2. One of my conflicts with healthy living, exercising, moving more etc. is that I love to read — and reading is (usually) sedentary. It’s a couch sport — not that good for the body.
So I’ve tried reading on the floor — but I do prefer the couch or even bed!

  3. I just read your comment and it cracked me up about reading while walking around the house. I’ll admit to it too but just because I am so enthralled with a book but if the benefit is there too, that’s great. I usually listen to books on tape as I do housework, gardening or cooking, frees my hands!

  4. All I can say is it is hard, hard, hard. I’ve had an incredibly stressful month at work and most of the strategies I’ve been trying to implement failed – my food journal lasted only one week. Then I attended a work conference five hours away and every healthy habit I’d been working on went to the wayside – unfortunately, I didn’t read the section in Beck Diet for Life on food pushers until I got home. I’m picking up the pieces though and keeping with it. I’ve been eating healthy since I got home for the most part and trying to exercise again. I’ve found planning helps the most.

Also, thank you for the books – I can’t wait to get started. I haven’t been reading much lately either. When I’m stressed I can’t concentrate.
