  1. Hey Joy and welcome back! I thoroughly enjoyed all your Facebook updates of that fantastic trip 🙂

I would love to be a part of a book bloggers NaNo support group, if you decide to start one. Just keep me posted ….

  2. Oh, I loved doing NaNoWriMo…did it in 2010…and the book I started then was published this year (Interior Designs). It was a great experience in writing every day and finishing something I had started.

A few years ago, I participated in a Louisa May Alcott challenge and loved revisiting Orchard House and a few other familiar places.

    Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  3. NaNoWriMo: “I’m thinking about doing it this year. I may set it up as a challenge for other book bloggers unless someone else is already doing that. Will you be writing a novel in November? Would you want to join with other book bloggers in the process for support and encouragement?”

Talk to me before you set anything up, Joy. I was Municipal Liaison for Chattanooga one year, so I’m sure there is one (or maybe several) for St. Louis. In other words, NaNoWriMo already has this covered. I’m about to leave to meet friends, but I’ll check this later and get back to you with more information later today.

Glad you had a good trip and are home again safe and sound.

    • Bonnie, there’s a very active group of NaNoWriMo folks in St. Louis. Or, at least there was when I last did it in 2011. In 2011, I laboriously created a list of book bloggers who were doing NaNoWriMo and we found it fun to hook up in that way. This year, if I do something similar, I’ll use Mr. Linky so that’s less work for me!

  4. Welcome back! I enjoyed seeing the photos on facebook too! I love the kickstarter for the documentary on Orchard House! I have never really thought about visiting the home until reading the kickstarter for the documentary- it sounds so interesting I may have to go now. Thanks for sharing that!
