Every Day for a Year #ReadersWorkouts — 15 Comments

  1. Congratulations! That’s wonderful, Joy. I love the picture.

I started 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. It might end up being a 60 day shred because I’ve been so sore from the first day’s workout. 😉

    • I once did 30 Day Shred as 60 Day Shred. I did her workout every other day and walked or stretched on the off days. Worked for me!

  2. Congrats, Joy! I’ve been struggling to get regular exercise and this summer I think I finally got over the hump by swimming in an outdoor pool three times a week, and going on after–dinner walks a couple times a week.

  3. Congratulations!!! 😀
You are right, there’s no way in stopping now.
And I also belive that exercising makes you healthier in so many ways. In my case, for example: I’m allergic to pollen (in spring), and I think this year I had less symptons because I had been running. Could that be possible? You can’t know how exercise can increase your health 😀
Anyway, this week I went cycling for my very first time (only an hour, and not very fast), and I think I will repeat!

  4. I’m struggling with the exercise (talk about it in my post this week) but my current goal is to get back into a weekly routine, even if it’s a once a week trip to the gym.

  5. Congratulations on your streak! I like to get my 3-5 mile power walk done in the early morning, and work out with my dumb bells 2-3 times a week. As a high school librarian, this routine is easy for me to maintain during the summer. It’s more of a challenge during the school year.

  6. Congrats on your streak. My dog keeps me exercising every day too. I walk miles with her. I also play a bit of tennis and like bicycling. Keep it up Joy!

  7. What an achievement Joy! Well done. I’ve really slacked off this year, but need to restart training for Paris in a few months (yes again..). I’m going to take inspiration from you- for me every day for a week would be a triumph, perhaps I’ll try that. I should go for a month. But I’m travelling for walk next week, it’s always difficult.
