11 Random Exercise Facts About Me — #ReadersWorkouts — 7 Comments

  1. Sorry for the silence last week. I’ve been relatively quiet this entire month, really. I’m trying to get back on track. I finally posted on a Tuesday again.

I’d consider myself nominated but today is just not the day. I have to go to the office, then I have a hair appointment, and today we start dog training classes. I won’t actually be going but my husband and son are going and I’ll be home taking care of the dogs. (First session is a dog free zone apparently.)

  2. Interesting! I’ve never heard of ITBS before. Since I sprained the left side of my neck, I started to ride my bike. That stopped since the right side of my neck and shoulders started aching. 🙁 Now I’m just walking when I can.

  3. I don’t think I’ve heard of ITBS before either. I’m thankful that I don’t have any issues or old injuries, knock on wood. I may do post similar to this after A to Z April’s over.

As far as exercise goes, I’ve been to the gym twice since last week, I think. Thursday I ran (slowly) 3 miles on the treadmill and did some weight machines. Yesterday I did the easy bike for about 20 minutes and then machines. Tonight I’m planning on (slowly) running 4 miles, probably on the treadmill since it’s raining here.

Thanks again for hosting this! I love having some kind of accountability.

  4. I sprained my IT band and tore my meniscus doing a karate kick entirely the wrong way, that was 3 months of physical therapy to fix.

This week has been hard because of a business trip to Connecticut to meet a demanding client. Flew home today and hit the gym for an hour to make sure I sleep tonight, tomorrow is the last private yoga lesson and I’m thinking next Friday I’ll try the 6am yoga class.
