I found a note to myself in my Tickler file on March 1 — all about taking care of myself in the week before and the week after the Spring Forward time change. Some years, I find that more difficult than it seems like it should be. So, here’s what I’m doing for the next couple of weeks:
- exercising an hour a day (mostly cardio and stretching because that’s what impacts my sleep)
- using my Neti pot twice a day (instead of the usual once a day — breathing helps me sleep)
- getting to bed early (at least, in theory — I’ll work harder to make that in practice now that I’ve publicly declared it)
- eating clean
- reading fun books (this is not the time for difficult tomes)
