  1. Non-fiction November sounds like fun!

How I wish we had a colorful maple outside our window. Instead, we have brownish-yellow leaves that falling like rain.

I have marked your wrap-post and plan to read all your October memoir entries over the next few days. I hope to participate in that meme next year, if it is offered again.

  2. Non-Fiction November sounds like fun! I am interested to hear your thoughts about Cheryl Strayed’s book, especially…it was not really my cup of tea, but I like to know what others think of it. And also Tracy Kidder – I am a huge fan of his book Mountains Beyond Mountains!

This Sunday I am enjoying a little bit of extra time in my morning thanks to daylight savings…I woke up well before my alarm. And then I’ll be going to work to put in some overtime from 12-9.

  3. I wish I had slept through my extra hour. Instead, Hannah the cat was up and causing mischief at 7:15 a.m. and I had to get up and deal with her. Oh well. I’m excited you’ll be joining us for Nonfiction November — I hope it will be exactly fun and low-key for everyone involved 🙂

  4. I really have to be called to a particular memoir to get into it. I have read a lot of cooking memoirs and ex-pat memoirs. I do want to read Ghosts by Daylight: Love, War and Redemption (US title) by Janine Di Giovanni. Mainly because her experience with a husband in AA sounds similar to my experiences with my father in AA.

  5. Non-fiction November sounds like fun! I’m been reading more and more non-fiction lately.

I hope your latest scheme is a success and that you can breathe a sigh of relief.
