Readers’ Workouts — September 17
Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where we share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I’m keeping up with my streak of daily exercise (it will be two months later this week) and that’s helping me keep on schedule to meet my goal of exercising 1400 minutes in September.
How are you doing with exercise right now? Answer on your blog (feel free to grab the logo) and link to your post below or join us in the comments! Be sure to visit the other participants to see how we all did.
I jut did my first hour group class at the karate studio since my calf strain, I get to wear those stylish compression sleeves on both sides now. But I survived and now I ache in places I didn’t know I had.
Still fascinated with the “Wired for Story” book, and I have a NaNoWriMo planing session with a friend coming upon Thursday.
Great job Joy! I know staying committed to a workout is very hard! I was trying to work out 3-4 times a week before summer hit strong on the farm and I could not make my workouts regularly. Made it very difficult. I hope to start again the first of November then I will join you!
I found myself taking the summer off and now do I ever need to get on track. I started a couple of weeks ago with a Leslie Sansome walking workout, which was nice and easy – and incredibly enough, I strained a calf muscle and it hurt like crazy for a week! So now I have to try and get back into it, especially since it’s getting cooler out now, so it’s perfect running weather. But I have to get into running shape first!
Congratulations Joy! You are an inspiration – keep up the good work.
Joy, you’re doing great! I’ve started doing sit-ups daily! It’s hard but I love the idea of a flat tummy! 🙂 Plus, I started walking more often.
I’m always so impressed by your exercise and fitness dedication!! Having a baby was a great weight loss for me (ha!!) but soon the real work will begin to gain back the muscle I lost during the pregnancy and postnatal period. Soon I’ll start walking in the mornings And then will probably pick up 30DS! Looking forward to it. 🙂
Still not doing as good as I’d like. Life has been getting in the way but thankfully everything turned out ok.
I did manage to lose 1 1/2 lbs. last week.
(we had a family emergency yesterday, that’s why my post is late)
