Readers’ Workouts — September 3
Welcome to Readers’ Workouts, the weekly event where we share workout stories, goals, successes, and challenges.
I didn’t quite make my goal of 1500 minutes of exercise in August, but almost. I did exercise every single day in August, which is terrific. I like being the sort of person who exercises every day.
For September, though, I decided to aim for the more realistic goal of 1400 minutes of exercise. I’m off to a good start — already at 105 minutes!
How was your exercise last month? What are your plans for September? Answer on your blog (feel free to grab the logo) and link to your post below or join us in the comments! Be sure to visit the other participants to see how we all did.
After being sick the weekend before last, it feels good to get back into the habit of exercising. Yesterday I did 3 miles and some ab work. Today I’ll do 4 miles and some upper body. Gradual increments with the intention of getting back to where I was just in time for my schedule to get away from me. But more about that later in my blog. For now, I’m exercising as if I weren’t anticipating something in 12 days.
I think I missed 2 days in August – both travel days – so I was pleased with myself.
I will be taking part in this as soon as the weather breaks and the farm work has slowed a bit. Looking forward to it. In the mean time, keep up the great work! 🙂 From March 1 through May 30th I lost 12 pounds and felt so much better. THen life kicked in on the farm and I didn’t get to keep at the workout routine. We are eating better and that is half the battle. Can’t wait to get back on track, literally!
As I mentioned in my last post, I was a very bad exerciser in August but I have high hopes for September – at least every other day is a realistic goal for me right now. I am very impressed that you were able to get some exercise in every day in August – congratulations!
I rode over 600 miles last month. -One week I got in over 200 miles.

I had my post scheduled for today, and I was gone all day and forgot to log onto my blog and add it to the linky before I left. I just remembered…better late than never!
Good luck on your September goals!!
Sorry I didn’t get to participate again this week…. but our son was home and I didn’t sit for a minute! I hope to write a post today, with a Woodstock update (so much fun).
You should join the SS challenge – you get 1 mile for every 15 minutes cardio (or 1:1 miles walking/running). no pressure, just good fun with women trying to workout. 🙂
Have a great week!
