Jardin du Plessis Sasnières
The French style of gardening features long straight lines and lots of trees and shrubs, with green as the dominant color. The feel is calm and elegant. But after many days of French gardens, it was lovely to visit an English style garden with curves and color. Jardin du Plessis Sasnières (website in French, but the photos are beautiful) hosted us for a nice light lunch and a quiet walk on the grounds.
I put more photos of Jardin du Plessis Sasnières, including one with their border terrier, on my Flickr page: Joy’s Photostream.
I’m linking these photos to the Saturday Snapshot meme. Check West Metro Mommy Reads for a list of more photos around the web on Saturday.
GORGEOUS!!!
You always have such lovely photos.
THANKS.

My Saturday Snapshot
Lovely gardens. Both styles are appealing, and right now with this heat, I’ll take any gardener that would like to whip my yard into shape. I’m not picky.
Another totally beautiful place Joy. Your photostream photos are gorgeous too. I love seeing different areas of France. You must have had an amazing trip.
Love that last photo of the lily. You are having such a great time. I’m a bit envious.
Oh, how lovely! Thank you.
Beautiful! I love English gardens, fancy seeing them in France. 😉
Gorgeous pictures!
I love the meandering river with her overhanging trees and shrubs (boats are ‘she’ so I’ve made a leap to also include all water as ‘she’s’ too!!)
That close-up is amazing. Terrific shots. I hope you’ll join me for Dreaming of France on Monday. Here’s Mine
Oh! So restful!
Oh those pictures are just gorgeous 🙂
