New Year’s Resolution Reading Challenge — Wrap Up

Graphic for New Year's Resolution Reading ChallengeThe , inspired me! I hope you found it energizing, too.

I wrote about the first few book reviews that showed up for this challenge earlier: .

Here’s what’s come in since then.

From Create with Joy:

From Avid Series Reader:

From Joy’s Book Blog:

Snowball of Come, Sit by the Hearth… talked about all three of her New Year’s Resolution Reading Challenge books in one post: BOOK REVIEWS. Sort Of. In it, we get to see her exciting progress at the beginning of the year with getting her poetry out there using these three books:

  • Create Your Incredible Year - Leonie Dawson
  • The Poet’s Market - Robert Lee Brewer, Ed.
  • How to Publish Your Poetry - Helene Ciaravino

I’ll leave the link-up open, , for late-breaking reviews, but the challenge is officially over. Thanks everyone for reading, visiting, chatting, discussing, and hopping. It was a fun event.

I’d love to do this again next year so please let me know your suggestions — including the possibility that ending it on January 31 is too soon.

If you want to write a wrap-up post, link it below so we can all visit!

So great that you all read so much for your New Years Books resolutions. I’m sorry I didn’t participate more. Part of that was taking more than a week after the New Year to really decide which direction to take, what to read, etc. .. and then some personal things came up. In any case, I think this challenge is a fabulous idea and I plan on participating if you do it again next year. Except this year I’ll be ready better prepared!

I think this has been the most beneficial challenge ever, for me at least. There is something about taking concrete steps toward your goals, and doing it in concert with others provides inspiration (thank you all) and ideas. Oops. I’m gushing. I also hope I have the chance to join the challenge again next year.
