Book Review: Sarum by Edward Rutherfurd — 6 Comments

  1. Somewhat shamefully, given that I live halfway between Old Sarum and Salisbury Cathedral, I’ve never read Sarum. However I did just read ‘Ghost Knight’ which is a ghost story for young teenagers set in the area. It’s by Cornelia Funke, who wrote Inkheart. It’s very enjoyable – the writer uses a couple of characters from Salisbury’s history for the two ghosts.

Also, you might be interested to know that a passage leading off from Salisbury Market Place has been named Rutherfurd Walk.
