Weekend Cooking: Shell Chocolate Sauce — 14 Comments

  1. Oh, I just LOVE magic shell…it totally takes me back to my childhood. I’ve been meaning to make this forever. Wish I could reach in and grab a bowl of that beautiful ice cream.

  2. Swooning all over this post — magic shell, dark chocolate and blackberry frozen yogurt! I like how you ponder making certain treats “safe” in your house. 🙂

  3. What a great idea, Joy! And it worked too 🙂 It’s been ages since I last had chocolate sauce, now I’m craving some frozen yogurt and chocolate sauce on top… nom.
I’d forgotten about Trish’ Pinterest challenge, hopefully she’ll host it again soon!

  4. this would not be safe in my house, it woul be eaten almost as soon as it was made. Thanks for sharing and would love to hear more about making of the frozen yogurt.

  5. Oh wow. Totally not safe here. If I made magic topping, I’d have to make ice cream / frozen yogurt and we eat it every night. Not a good idea. Very yummy yes, but ….

I love the idea of making one’s own sauce though.

  6. That sauce does look like magic – I’ll have to look up the recipe and see ‘how it’s done.’ Too bad about the coconut-y taste. I’m sure you’ll experiment and find the perfect recipe. And just an aside: that frozen yoghurt looks AMAZING. Yum!

  7. You’re kidding?! Just coconut oil and chocolate?! I do like coconut but know that many people don’t. Man–I’m just finishing up my ice cream challenge and this would have been perfect. And yes, the blackberry froyo is very yummy looking.
